NEWSPAPER CONTROVERSY.
—'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Last .Night, 6 o'clock.) BERLIN, November 11. A series of newspaper articles have been begun in the German papers to deter Germans from emigrating to the .Dominions. The Lokal Anzeiger states that the chief products of the Canadian towns are pamphlets their own virtues. It describes the passengers on the railways as powerful athletes, unshaven- and wearing dirty, boots, into which are stuck hairy legs clad in «dlk socks.
