NEWSPAPER CONTROVERSY.

A series of newspaper articles have been begun in the German papers to deter Germans from emigrating to the .Dominions. It describes the passengers on the railways as powerful athletes, unshaven- and wearing dirty, boots, into which are stuck hairy legs clad in «dlk socks.
