CHARGE OF SEDITION.
The arrest of Robert Semple and two others in Wellington on charges of sedition, etc., will come as a shock to the Red Fedorationists of the Dominion. The language employed by somQ of the revolutionax-ies in Wellington has been abominable and disgusting. The charge of sedition is
very serious, and, if a conviction "bo recorded,: lengthy terms of imprisonment may bo imposed. It would, of course, be improper to discuss the merits of the charge preferred against Robert Semplo at this .stage. All wo can do in the meantime is to congratulate the Government upon its determination to place upon his defence every inn 11 who incites the public in tills crisis to commit offences against the law.
