MASTERTON CSM3B.
The Masterton Golf Club terminated a highly successful season on tho Lansdowne links on Saturday. There was a large of ladies and gentlemen, but the afternoon 1 was rather marred by heavy rain, which came on late in the afternoon. The final games were, 'nevertheless, played to a finish, and at the conclusion tho prizes won were presented to the successful. competitors by Mrs Hugh Williams.
The results of the day's play are as follow,
Best cards in Mixed Foursome.— A. T. Spain and Miss Payton, hep. S—nct score 53; Mr and Mrs Lawrence, 10—54; Mr and Mrs Guy Williams, 4—58; P. L. Hollings and Mrs Harrison, 14—59; L. Rein ; F. P«rry, 12—61; Mr and Mrs C. Bennett, 12—62: E. Schmders and Miss W. Pony, 20 —65; Mr and Mrs Fenton, 6 —65. Men's Driving Competition.—J. Archer 212 yds, 1; E. Perry 196 yds, 2. Men's Putting Competition. —E. Perry 1. Ladies' Driving Competition.— Mias J- Robieson 132 yds, 1.
Miss E. Robieson and Mrs Fentoii tied in the ladies' putting eomperfafion, and the former won in the playoff.
