MEETING OF STEWARDS.
The monthly meeting of stewards of 'tl» MaSterton HAcing < Glhb' on Saturday last, there being present: Messrs D. MoLachlan (in the chair), G. H. Yates, W. B. Ohennells, B; Bttiok, P. H. Harrison, F. Evans, P. Dorsetj 0. Cooper, A. J. Welch, J. lorns, J. Macara, and C. J. Bennett. • The secretary of the New Zealand Racing Conference forwarded; notifications td owners put on the unpaid forfeit. list. He ,a,lsp forwarded a, copy of a reply received from the Eangitikei Olub, objecting to the change of date for the autumn meeting from April 2nd and 3rd to March 19th and 20th, as applied for by this | club. , . The- Woodvillo Jockey Club asked for names and addresses of stewards of the club. —Siipplied. Mr J. Hurley asked for information as to who had nominated and accepted the liorso Sir Fisher lor the receut meeting—lnformation given. Mr H. J. B agnail forwarded certain recommendations for the improvement of the totalisator conveniences. —A committee consisting of Messrs Chennells, Macara, Y:-t«s and Dorset, was - set -up -to deal with the recommendations. ~ The Ground Coinmittee was instructed t«o proceed with the formation of a mound in front of the grandstand, either in grass dr concrete. The secretary produced-a balancesheet for the last meeting, which showed a profit of f 619 18s 6d,,.and was considered highly satisfacin'y. Accounts amounting to £1521 lis 5d were passed for payment. It was decided to hold a ground coimmittee meeting on the course on Tuesday morning.
