CARTERTON SHOW STOCK SALE
' Messrs W. and G. lurabull and Co., Ltd., report having held on Thursday 30th Oct., at the Carterton Showgrounds, the most successful <sale ever held in the Wairarapa, when they offered fat ! ewes and lambs on aecounf of exhibitors of the ishow. There was a representative gathering of buyers present from each of the companies and private firms operating in fat stock in our dififrict, consequently bidding at auction, was very animated and exceptional prices were realised for first quality stuff. We offered and sold 146 fat lambs and fat ewos. The following sales were made: On ac. J. and W. Fisher, 30s, 41s, 425, 45s 6d, 465, 61s,- 66s to 71s. fat shorn ewes 225, fat woolly ewes 335; ac. W. Howard Booth, lambs 53s to 625; an. Thos. Ingley, fat lambs 645; ac. Colin Campbell, fat lambs 41s to 445; ac. H. and C. Morison, fat lambs 335; ac. E. and H. Perry, fat lambs 60s; ac. Wiggins Bros., fat lambs 20s' 23s 6d and 25s 6d; ac. A. King, fat I lambs 18s 6d and 19s 6d; ac. Hayvr, Catt, fat lambs 20s, 20s 6d, 27s 6d; ac. J. Monaglian, fat lambs 245.
