THE "PERRY" LIGHT CAR.
- i . Mr R. Bristol, representing Messrs Schofield, Goodman and Co., London, is at present on a visit to Mastertonj with Mi- T. Inglis, of Bros., the well-known. motor importers, of "Wellington, jfhey have with' thein a miniature car ! btiili by Perry, pf Birmingham, which they drove from Wellington over the Rimutaka on Tuesday last. The consumption of petrol was over 48 miles to the gallon. The car is a two-seater, with ample length in front, and also box room at back, and is finished in green, black and white lines, brass metal, hood, adjustable screen, side and tail lamps, and accessories. The ignition is a Bosch high-tension magneto, driven direct off the end of cam-shaft through flexible Clement drive, and it is fitted with a Zenith! carburetter. The gear-box is of straight through quadrant type, giving three speeds forward (third being direct), and one reverse. The tyres are .• plain. ..Dunlops w ; Ue&k. Saac^-de? tachable steel artillery wheels '(wiil* extra wheel arid tyre.complete). - The car, which, is quoted at tWteaso-KabM price of £195, was on exhibition at the' Carterton show, and Was the centre of a good deal off attraction, ladies m particular being specially interested. The agents desire to emphasise -that the car is not a ovcle-car but a 'miniature motor car, and ought to appeal to iiK'dical men and employees of stock firms. The representatives are staying .in Masterton until Moinday and may be interviewed at the Club Hotel by anyone desirous of o'bany further information.
