DOCKING HORSES' TAILS.
OPERATION CAUSES GREAT PAIN. 'Times'—'Sydney Sun' Special* Cables; (Received Oct. 31, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON* Oct. 30. A man was fined £1 for docking & horse's tail. A veterinary surgeon gave evidence that doieking caused great pain, which was preventable by oiling cocaine. He added that three years hence horses with docked tails would not be taken by the Army authorities.
