UNIONISTS IN SYDNEY.
WATCHING DEVELOPMENTS. (Received Last Night, 10.10 o'clock.) . SYDNEY, Oct. 31. The secretary of the Wharf Labourers' Union states that he is unable to make a statement in regard to the New Zeaand trouble till after the union's meeting oil Wednesday night. The secretary of the Australasian Federation of Labour considers there is no immediate likelihood of the Federation being effected, but the execu- -- fi V watching developments in New Zealand, and adds that thee action of the farmers' sons in replacing the strikers is calculated to lead to a I'esort to force on both sides. Feeling amongst Australian unionists is strongly averse to handling any goods they might regard as "black."
