WAIPOUA STOCK SALE.

Messrs W. and G. Turnbull and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale in their Waipoua Masterton saleyards on Wednesday, 22nd Oct., when they had a very poor yarding, owing, no doubt, to most of the farmers being away at the Hawke's Bay show. There were no sheep penned and only a small entry; of cattle, which met with very slack competition. The following prices were realised: Dairy cow £5 se, empty heifer £3 lis, heifers with calves £4 9s, springing heifers £5 5s to £5 10s, heifers in calf (late calvers) £3 14s, Jersey bull £3 10s, poTker 345.
