STRONGLY-WORDED RESOLUTION.
The Masterton shearers have joined with other labour institutions in the Dominion in protesting against the proposals contained in .the amendment to the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration We are told that Messrs Massey, Pryor and Co. are attempting to perform an act of tyranny; but no effort is made to establish a connection between the Prime Minister and the Employers' Association, or to show in what respect the amending Bill is tyrannous. If it is an act of tyranny to prevent women and children from being terrorised and exploited by agitators, then the tryanny is to be commended. The secret ballot is probably what the Syndicalists object to. They do not wiah the power of the labour "bosses" to be destroyed. They want the projection of the Arbitration Court ag well as the right t:i
strike. Tho Government is placing the interests of the Dominion before those of labour organisations or employers' organisations, and it is deserving of tho approbation of the public for its effort to maintain the industrial equilibrium.
