KILLING OF A MEXICAN GEN- / BRAL. •'Times' — 'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. ((Received October a.m.) MEXICO CITY, October 14. A witness of the recent fighting states that General Alvirez, with four hundred men, was ambushed at Ton-eon, and that only four escaped. General Alvirez, when hoplesssly 1 surrounded, broke his sword and sat on his horse calmly waiting till he was shot. The rebel general removed Alvirez's body to Torreon, where it was conspicuously displayed, suspended from a telegraph pole. HUERTA SUSPENDS THE CONSTITUTION. DECLARES HIMSELF DICTATOR. (Received October 15, .1 p.m.) WASHINGTON, October 14. President Huerta has suspended the constitution and declared himself Dictator. In consequence of this coup d'etat, the United States refuses to recognise the forthcoming elections as coastitutional. I
