A STRANGE ACCIDENT.

WOMAN FALLS OVER A BALCONY. TAKEN TO MASTERTON HOSPITAL. A married woman named Styles, whose husband is in Christchurch, is at present in the Masterton Hospital, suffering fro:n concussion of the brain. She was living in the Sonoma .boarding house in Masterton, and on Tuesday morning is alleged to have either jumped or fallen over tjio balcony on to the footpath beneath. She was picked up in an unconscious condition, and Dr Cook, who was summoned, ordered, her removal to. the hospital. Her injuries will not, it is thought, terminate fatally. The police have investigated the case, which presents some rather extraordinary features.
