CLASSIFICATION LIST. {By Tfaotaah.—FrtH Astociatum.\ WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Post and Telegraph Department classification list was issued this afternoon in a Supplementary Gazette. The schedules of salaries for the professional", clerical, and general divisions are prefixed to the list. They show the fixed annual increments of officers in the different classes of each division. The Public Service Commissioner, in an explanatory note, states that any officer diesatisfied with the classification may forward an appeal in terms of section 31 of tlnTAct. Any appeal likely to reach Wellington later than thirty-one ' days after.to-day (October 14th must bo* accompaniel by evidence showing that the list was not in. the appellant's hands more than thirty days before the posting of the appeal to the Commissioners.
