HAWKER'S ACCIDENT.
DUE TO CARELESSNESS. (Received Last Night, 5.5 o'clock.) LONDON, Oct. 11. (Mr H. Hawker, the Australian aviator, explains that his recent accident was due to carelessness in turning in the wind with a heavy load of petrol, when too close to the ground. The muscles of his back were strained through hia bracing himself for the fall.
