FAMINE FEARED.
IN NORTHERN INDIA. (Received Last Night, 11.5 o'clock.) LONDON, October 3. The Daily Telegraph's Allahabad correspondent states that owing to the late season and lack of rains, a serious famine is feared in Northern India.
Prices have materially advanced in the principal centres.
