DISPLAY AT TOWN HALL, The physical culture and gymnasium classes conducted under the ausof the Masterton Y.M.C.A. gave IBm excellent and up-to-date demonstration in the Town Hall last evening. The attendance was not as large as , the general excellence of the display warranted, but those who were present were treated to a demonstration •which could not fail to please and «t the same time instruct. Deepbreathing exercises were perhaps the feature of the display, the various tests being carried out by the differerit classes in an almost perfect manner. The gymnastic sections proved very attractive, the work being gone through in a fashion - which indicated careful training and tuition. The Jltgrch and running maze, in which and men gave a combined display, was also excellently carried out, and was loudly applauded, as indeed were the majority of the demonstrations. ' Taken all round, the display was an entire success, and apafirt from the demonstration point of view, the value of the numerous exercises and tests to the members of the cla-sses cannot be over-estimated. Mr R. 0. Jarrett has every reason to feel gratified at the excellent results which have attended "the year's work. Mr A. C. Williams, gymnastic instructor, is also to be congratulated. Lasfr-evening's demonstration gave every indication of the large amount of time and"*Vork that must have been spent to produce such excellent « suite. Miss H. McKenzie was an efficient pianiete.
