THE OIL RESERVE.
CANADIAN SUPPLY. (Received Last Night, 10.20 o'clock.) OTTAWA, October 2. The Geological Survey Department reports that extensive supplies of oil fuel, suitable-for naval phrases, exist throughout Western* Canada. Steps are to be taken to bring the matter before the Admiralty, in view of the latter's intention of investigating the oil resources of the Empire.
