COTTON WORKERS' STRIKE.

TYRANNY OF OVERSEER. GENERAL LOCKOUT THREATENED. (Received Last Night, 9 o'clock.) LONDON, October 1. 'l'he operatives at the Beehive Cotton Mill, at BoTton, have struck, alleging tyranny of the overseers. The Master Cotton Spinners' Federation threatens a general lock-out of the whole trade, resenting the attitude of the operatives in dictating who shall be placed in authority over them. The Beehive workers acted agamst the advice of their leaders, who admit that they lost their control.
