(Received Last Night, 5.50 o'clock.) SYDNEY, Sept, 28. Arthur Oliver will ride Soltano in tho A.J.C. Derby next Saturday. The offer made to Mr T. H. Lowry for his Derby colt was made by the Randwick trained Foulsham. Soltano is the star .performer on the training tracks. Yesterday, accompanied by Hallowmas, he covered ten Prince Flavus going with them over the last nine." The latter was beaten by several lengths, being of use to Soltano, who finished full of running and beat Hallowmas by a good length. Soltano's time was 2.10, the last eight furlongs taking 1.43J, and gained him many friends by the manner in -which he finished. A number of watchers consider the gallop equal to Beragoon's record of a few days ago. PJmperador and Cherubini, not fully extended, covered a circle in 2.25. Relievo beat Malt Field by a dozen lengths over a mile, ran in 1.42. Beragoon, not going at top over the first quarter, ran ten furlongs in 2.15, the last seven furlongs being cut out in 1.31. Radnor, Andelosia and Beau Soult all finished well separately over ten furlongs. Nuwarra Eliya, at Victoria Park, outside the hurdles, ran about 75 yards over a mile in 1465.
