Yesterday, accompanied by Hallowmas, he covered ten Prince Flavus going with them over the last nine." The latter was beaten by several lengths, being of use to Soltano, who finished full of running and beat Hallowmas by a good length. Soltano's time was 2.10, the last eight furlongs taking 1.43J, and gained him many friends by the manner in -which he finished. A number of watchers consider the gallop equal to Beragoon's record of a few days ago. PJmperador and Cherubini, not fully extended, covered a circle in 2.25. Relievo beat Malt Field by a dozen lengths over a mile, ran in 1.42. Beragoon, not going at top over the first quarter, ran ten furlongs in 2.15, the last seven furlongs being cut out in 1.31.
