IRISH LEADER DEAD.
BLOW TO NATIONALIST PARTY. 'Times'—'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Last Night, 7.10 o'clock.) LONDON, Sept. 26. The Irish leader, Mr Patrick Ford, has died at New York from pneumonia.};,. The Times' Dublin correspondent says that the death of Mr Ford is a heavy loss to the Nationalists, and .make .Mr John Redmond more anxious to get the Home Rule Bill Passed. It-Js believed' that Mr Ford was instrumental in obtaining- contributions totalling £3,000,00 for party funds.
