Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., report having held their usual weekly sale at Sol way on Wednesday, 24th inst., when there was the usual attendance and a. small yarding stock, which were first quality, and met with ready Prime fat ewes 25s Id, ewes with lambs at foot 25s Id, 3-year P.A. heifers £5 7s 6d. LONDON WOOL SALES. Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Wellington, have received tho following information from their London office, under date 24th inst.Wool sales opened with large attendance of buyers. Competition is animated. The bulk of the offerings consist of slipes. For merinos and greasy crossbreds, prices are -unchanged. Fine and medium sliped crossbreds show a decline of 2* to 5 per cent. Coarse crossbred slipes are unchanged. PALMERSTON STOCK SALE. PALMERSTON N., Last Night, Messrs Abraham and Williams, Ltd., report that at Palmerston North on Thursday, the 25th inst., they offered good yardings of both sheep and cattle. There was a keen demand for all classes of sheep, and every lot was sold under the hammer. Quotations: Mixed aged ewes with lambs at foot 20s 3d, fat ewes 21s 2d to 26s 2d, forward ewes 16s 8d to 17s, fat wethers 27s to 28s 3d, woolly hoggets 16s 6d, small 2-th wethers 16s; springing heifers £6, fat cows £5 5s to £6 2s, small yearling steers 35s to £2 lis, ejfliws in calf £4 10s to £4 lis.
