A STEAMER ASHORE.
MANY PASSENGERS ABOARD. (Reaeived Sept. 25, 2.30 p.m.) MONTREAL, Sept. 24. The steamer Mount Temple went ashore in the St. Lawrence River during a fog. She is reported to be badly damaged. There.are many passengers aboard. [The Mount Temple is a steel twinscrew steamer of 8790 tons, and belongs to the Oanadian-Pacific Railroad Company. She was ; built in 1901.]
