EMPLOYERS DEFENCE UNION.
FORMED IN BRITAIN. 'Times' —'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Last Night, 7.5 o'clock.) LONDON, Sept. 25. A United Kingdom Employers' Defence Union has been formed to secure inviolability of contracts against aggressive Trade Union tactics. A guarantee fund of £50,000,000 will be raised. CONSOLIDATING RESOURCES. 'Times' —'Sydney Sun' Special Cables. (Received Last Night, 7.5 o'clock.) LONDON, Sept. 25. The newly-formed Employers' Defence Union seeks to consolidate the employers' resources, to maintain their rights of freedom to bargain with individual free workers or collectively with trade unions. Each member guarantees to contribute according to his means, the guarantee only to become operative when the total sum secured by calls does "not exceed per cent in any ond year.
