CLAY PIGEON MATCH. A very successful clay pigeofl match was held yesterday under the auspices of the Masterton Gun Club, the prize money amounting to £65. Three sweepstakes were subsequently got off and resulted as follows: First Sweepstake.—H. Cripps, W. Kummer and J. H. Tatham tied with 22 birds each, and elected to divide the stake. Second Sweepstake.—R. Buick, H. Nitz and J. H. Tatham tied and divided the prize-money. Third Sweepstake.—W. Kummer 1, H. Cripps 2, H. J. Nitz 3. - Mr H. Woolven performed the office of referee in a capable manner.
