RAILWAYMEN ON STRIKE.
SPEEDY SETTLEMENT EXPECTED.

The executive of the National Union of Hailwayraen will consider the Birmingham strikers' demand for a national strike to-day, The Liverpool railwayraen have decided to send a deputation, representing the workmen apart from the union, to interview the railway officials'. A speedy settlement is expected.
