(Received September 17, 8.30 a.m.) LONDON, Sept. 16. A chimney fell at an ironworks at. Workington, Cumberland, destroying the mill. *, LFive /men were killed and many injured. . - It was a brick, chimney, steeHined, and 1 -180ft'high. It fell on the Steel Works Department, cutting oft* the. top,of the mill, crushing the machinery, and enveloping the workers_ in £lhe debris. , . / ! I Manyi of the workers frantically; rushed put of the building. There/ were some marvellous escapes* v |c Scores were injured, several badly. Four bodies Tiave been found, and three persons are*missing.
