GATHERING OF ROYALTIES.

There is a large gathering of Royal personages at Sigmaringen, including the Prince of Wales, for the wedding of ex-King Manoel of Portugal to Princess Augusta Victoria of Hohenzollern. The wedding takes place next Thursday. LISBON, Sept. 3.
Extraordinary secrecy is being maintained regarding the weddirig presents to be sent by Portuguese Loyalists. Carbonarios threaten that ex-King Manoel's present to the bride—a diadem studded with two thousand diamonds and emeralds, and which is being made in Lisbon—shall never reacTi its destination. They maintain; a constant watch on the shop where the gift is being manufactured. The jewellers have requested Government protection.
ROYAL GUESTS ARRIVE
(Received Last Night, 10.15 o'clock.) BERLIN, Sept. 4. Princess Victoria Augusta, the Duke and Duchess of Aosta, Queen Amelie,- the Infanta Carlos, Duke of Oporto, Prince Eitei Friedrich, the Crown Prince and Princess of Roumania have arrived at Sigmaringen. Cardinal Natto will conduct the marriage service. King George and Queen Mary sent seven silver dinner dishes, and Queen Alexandra a gold loving cup.
