THE STRANDED DEVON.
REINSURANCE QUOTED. 'Times' —'Sydney Sun' Special Cables, (Received Last Night, 6.40 o'clock.) LONDON, August 27. The reinsurances on the stranded steamer Devon are quoted at 90 per cent. The hull of the vessel is valued at £40,000, of which £IB,OOO is payable in the event of the steamer becoming a total wreck.
