MANSLAUGHTER.
VEDIOT OF NOT GUILTY. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Last Night. _ A new jury was empanelled this morning, and the charge of manslaughter preferred ; against Phillip James Kelly was heard again. Yesterday, after a protracted sitting, the jury disagreed, and was discharged. f Kelly was, charged with having, on July 24th, caused the death of Ida Una Heath Bradley, by negligently driving a taxi-cab. Evidence along the lines of that given at the previous trial .was given, and after a 3|hours' retirement the/ jury returned a verdict of not guilty.
