Mrs and the Misses Reynolds, of Renall Street, are spending a few weeks at Whishaw House, Oriental Bar, Wellington. Miss Corskie, of Waipawa, is visiting Mrs R. Brown, of Essex-street. Mrs J. L. Murray has Miss B. .Jones, from the Lower Hutt, staying with her. Muss U. Stewart is in Eketahuna for the bachelors' ball. Mr and Mrs George Hutcheson and family are staying at "Brooklyn," atid. are leaving for Canada next month. A London correspondent, writing under date July 17th, states tthat Mr and Mrs E. L, Holmwood, of Mastertou, are at present in London. Mrs Carey, who has been visiting friends in 'the Wairarapa, has gone to Hawera on a visit to Mr and Mrs F. W. Carey, formerly of Masterton.
