Messrs Dalgety and Co., Ltd., Masterton, report havng held their usual monthly .sale at Martinborough, wb.es there wa9 a large attendance, and only a fair yarding of stock, mostly dairy heifers, which realised the following prices;-—Mixed b.f. hoggets 14s 2d, springing heifers £5 15s to £6 12a 6d, run heifer* in calf £5 14s. cows with calves at foot £6.
SALE AT KO&OTAJJ,
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Oo , Ltd., report having held a most satisfactory sale of, dairy cows, implements, furniture, etc., on account of Mr S. R. Buck eridge, at Kokotau, on Thursday last. There was a good attendance of buyers, and anything choice met with keen competition, the 3-year old heifers especially selling well, making from £6 15s to £ll 12s 6d, and'averaging £B. The cows brought from £5 to £lO 10s, averaging £7 13s;? 2-year heifers £5 10s, yearlings £3, Holstein bull 30gns, draught foal £l3, small Jhoggets 9s, sow with litter £7 2s Qd, while the implements, furniture aid sundries sold at full rates.
