PERSONAL.
An old resident of Masterton, in the person of Mr John Little, passed away at the Masterton Hospital on Thursday night, at the age of 88 years. The deceased had a resident of Kuripuni for many years. He had lately been an inmate of the Solway Home, but as he became very weak, he was transferred to the hospital. He leaves one son —MiThomas Little-.
A telegram from Levin records the death of the Rev. William Tinsley, an old and respected minister of the Methodist Churtch. The deceased, who had heen for 45 years in the ministry, had) suffered lately from heart trouble, but his end was not expected. Mr W. A. Hogg, eldest son of Mr A. W. Hogg, of Masterton, who is now stationed at Rotorua, is at present on a visit to his parent®;
The death occurred in the Masterton Hospital one day this week of Mi* Henry Edwards, who was for some years employed on the Kaikoma whaling station, and who is well known at Mataikona and Aolionga, where he had been, working.
