"THE TALKERIES."
A PROGRESSIVE BUSINESS. The progress made by "The Talkeries," Queen Street, Master-ton, is an instance of what energy and enterprise will do for a business. During the past week the premises have been considerably enlarged, and fitted up on the most modern lines, with a view to facilitating the display of new goods, which are constantly arriving. Included in the improvements is a now show room, which .has been specially erected for the exhibition of pianos, the firm having secured the sole Wairarapa agency of the wellknown instruments handled by Messrs F. J. Pinny, Ltd., of Wellington. A most attractive display is how being made of such notable instruments as Chappell (London); Oollard and Qo!lard, Otto and Carl Philipp (Berlin); Alrich and Alsen. A cordial invitation is extended to town and country residents to call and inspect the range. In connection with the gramaphone department, all makes of diso machines ara shown, including the renowned Dulcephone. A few very fine travellers' samples of disc machines are also just to hand, and are quoted at a very low figure. A big stock of needles is always kept, including the "Lyric," "Cohimbia," "Dnlcephone" and "His Master's Voice." • Those interested in . the popular new Blue Amberol record are reminded that fresh stocks are arriving on the 29th inst. Easy time payments for both pianos and gramaphones are extended to patrons, and the manager, Mr T. W. Steel, will be pleased to supply full particulars to anyone on application.
