THE -GREAT McEWEW. Of the Great McEwen, whose entertainment has attracted packed houses in Sydney, Melbourne and Adelaide, the Dunedin Star says: "It is safe to say that - not for a decade at least lias there been heard in a place of amiiseoiipt in Dunedin such hearty and laughter as rippled and rattled fr*# the great audience present last to see the Great Mc,Ewen. The whole audience for the greater part of two hours wa« never far from the borderland of hysteria." On Tuesday night, at the Town Hall, the Great McEwen will present his wonderful entertainment. McEwen copies as the foremost hypnotist in the world, and is said to present a most unique entertainment. Not only is he a, master hypnotist, but lie is a remarkably clever conjuror, with ■a budget of new and surprising tricks and also is a Scottish humourist, with an unlimited fund of new stories. He will be assisted by Miss Florence Hartley, a famous American prima donna, who will bo heard in operatic selections, and Mr Will Bolton, a champion specialty dancer. Popular prices will obtain, and seats can be reserved at the Dresden without' extra charge.
