KAIPARORO NOTES.
Our Own Correspondent. The weather here continues exceptionally fine for this time 'of the year. Already lambs are to be seen frisking about in the paddocks. The euchre tournaments are s held once a fortnight. At the last, the Indies' first and second plrizes were won by Mrs A. Falkner, senr., and Miss Annie Parner, and the gentlemen's by' Mr Sunncx and Mr Brian Lozell. After the euchre, dancing was indulged in by the young folk till midnight. A long night was held here last Thursday, but owing to so many attracting taking place on the fame night, it was not as well attended as usual. It was, however, no less enjoyable on that account, those present enjoying themselves immensely. Mr "Mick" McAnalty has recently purchased the land adjoinging his farm from Mr Hawkins. The local bachelors are anticipating giving their annual ball shortly. This is always the most successful function, and given a fine night it will not be the fault of the bachelors if it proves to be less enjoyable than its predecessors. Miss Kilmartin," who has been, relieving here for the last four months, leaves on Saturday for Leyiii, where she is to act. as relieving assistant in the local school.
