ABANDONED BY NANKING. (Received July 31, 9.40 a.m.) PJfiKI'N, July 30. Nanking- has abandoned the rebel movement. (Four thousand northern troops have arrived "at Yang-Tse, and are preparing to march on Woosung. ' The influx of refugees is cauang anxiety in Shanghai, where food supplies are interrupted, and famine is feared. The Consuls have protested to the northern admirals against the firing of shells over Shanghai.
