RAILWAY SOCIAL.
AT THE DRILL HALL. The staff of the Masterton railway held a most enjoyable social and dance in the Drill Hall, Masterton, last evening, there being a. good attendance. The, hair was tastefully decorated with flags and evergreenst. The arrangements were all that could be desired, and the whole gathering was a great success. Supper was laid out by Mr A. J, Alpass, and Mr Frank McKenzie's orchestra provided excellent music. Waltz extras were played by the Misses Smith and Williams, and the offices of M's.C. were earned out by Messrs T. Raften (chief), A. Quinn, G. Newton, and O. Kennedy. Members of the Wangarnui representative hockey team, were present, being entertained by the Wairarapa Hookey Association.
