AT THE MASTERTONiTOWN hall. There was & large audience at tife' Maatertkm Town Hall last night, tov witness the. production by die' George Marfow Ctomjpany; of the spectacular 1 . drama, "The Night Side of London.'* The play, wtiioh was written by Mr C. Watson Mill,. really an expo- 1 sure of the methods employed m the white elave traffic in the great metropolis. It unfolds some very remarkable incidents in connection with. the , abominable / trade whichi .has sprung up in the Motherland) and shows how the procurer is trap- , ped and virtue is .sometimes triumphant. Mr Robert Inman, who is always a favourite, took the leading character of Manuel Errington, and iMiss Constance Crew that of Mra Errington. The remaining caste was very strong. The scenic effects were, remarkably good, describing, the procurer's apartments, the city clubs, astreet tin the West End, a hut by the river Thames, and the village of" Closeminster. The plot of the piece was followed with intense interest, and the play was pronounced to bo; one of the beat ever witnessed :ia Masterton.
