A CORRECTION.
(To the Editor.) Sir,—My attention has been dr&wij to a local appearing in the Wairarapa Age of Saturday, July 19th, crediting me with the statement "that in some of the small schools the men to whom they were entrusting their children were little {better than labourers." It should have read "little better paid than labourers.'/ I should be very sorry to make a comparison between any body of men in that way. I was speaking of the wages of the country teachers, and pleading for better treatment for them.—l am, etc., THOS. MOSS. Newman, July 28, 1913,
