SOCIAL RE-UNION.
STOCK, LAW AND DENTISTRY
The seventh annual; re°union of the stock and station agents, dentists, lawyers and bankers was held in the Club Hotel, Master ton, last evening. There was a large and. enthusiastic gathering, wihich waa presided over by Mir G. H. Perry. An excellent supper was provided by Host Crass, and a most enjoyable evening was spent. During the evening special reference was made to the approaching departure of Mr J. B. Moodie, who has been associated with these gatherings from their inception.. All present joined in offering his successor (Mr D. B. Carrick) a hearty wel-. o©me. The following toasts were honoured: "The King"; "The Legal Piyji ° 6 ® on Bankers," Mr 6. C. Mountfort; Agents and son and A. Caselberg and C. O'Connor; "The Winning team," R. McKenzie—M. Iggalden; "Kindred Sports,;" Mr C; W. Perry —Messrs M. Foley and D. K. Logan; /'The Ladies," Mr T. O'Dowd—Mr A. R. Sclanders; "The Press," Mr J. B. Moodie; "The Referee," Mr T. J. Jordan.
During the evening items were contributed by the following:—Messrs F. Kane, H. G. Wilton, 0, R. Throp, D. Caseiberg, T. J. Jordan, J, J. Kelli,har, W. S, JasgP/ A. L. Tressider, ■ H. Sharp, J. B. Moodife, P. L. Gully, R. Messenger, and Messrs Lees, Pryde and Davie, visitors to the Masterton Competitions, wihose items deserve special mention, Messrs Gabites and Kane officiated at the piano.
