PAffIATUA STOCK SALE. Messrs Abraham, and Williams, Ltd.,- report having held their weekly sale in the Farmers' Association yaa-ds on Tuesday, when they offered a fair yarding of sheep and cattle to a. good of buyers, despite the inclement weather. Hoggets were not too strong in demand, but ewes in lamb showed a marked improvement. We quot<e: 2, 4 and 6-toobh ewes in lavnb to 235, f.f.m. ewes in lamb 17s Id to 18s 6d, is.m. ewes in lamb 13s lOd to 14s 9d, culls 9s, ewe hoggets 10s 9d to 14s, mixed sex hoggiets 10s Id to 12s Id, woolly hoggets to lis 4d, Cattle: Springing 'heifers £7 10s to £9, heifers in milk to £3 ss, dairy cows on drop £5 5s to £7, store oows to £2 10b, fat heifers to £4 4s.

CLEARING SALES. Messrs Levin and Co., Ltd., report: We held a very successful clearing sale on account of Mr A. G. Pilmer, Taueru, yesterday, when we sold the whole of his live stock and sundries. The stock was yarded in excellent condition. There was a good attendance of buyers, and bidding was keen for all lines offered. Prices realised were : Breeding ewes 20s, 2-th empty ewes 17s, 2-th wethers 17s 7d, ewe hoggets 14s 9d, wether hoggets 14fl 3d, fat ewes 17s Bd, 4-yr rams 16s 6d to 20s, 3-yr forward steers £8 ss, 2£-yr steers £5 13s 6d, 2-yr steers £5 4s, weaners (mixed) £3 Is, breeding cows £5 4s, 3-yr heifers £5 17s 6d, dairy cows £9 10s to £l2 10s, 2-yr heifers £4 19s, drft. mares £34 to £4O 10s, unbroken 2-yr colt £l7, yearling colt £lO 10s. Implements and sundries at satisfactory prices. Messrs Abraham and Williams, report having held a very successful clearing sale on the 21st inst, on ac. of Mrs and Mr F. G. Walker, -at Mangarawa, when the whole, of their effects were disposed of at satisfactory prices, both "herds making: the excellent average of £8 4s, and j selling up to £l2 2s 6d. Following are quotations: Early calvers £9 2s 6d to £l2 2s 6d, later sorts £6 5s to £8 ss, backward and three-quarter cows £4 to £5 17s 6d. Milk cans, etc., sold at market rates.
