DEPUTATION TO PREMIER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Last Night. The Country Racing Clubs' Executive to-night decided to wai| on the Prime Minister and ask the Government's assistance in passing tJie Gaming Act Amendment Bill, and to urge a change in the law so that the racing tax shall be levied on the amount put through the totalisator and on the annual profits of each cluib only, and not on the 2| per cent, of the gross revenue.
