MISS MARIE MOTTO.
AT THE EXCHANGE HALL. The recital given in the Exchange Hall, Master ton, last evening, by Miss Mane Motto, the talented violinist, who is on a holiday visit to the Dominion, proved a musical triumph. Those who were torca iste enough to be present were charmed with the artistic Tendering of classical works by some of the best masters on an instrument that is one of the few Stradivarius in existence. We regret that pressure Upon our space precludes a full criticism of the various mrnoers that were given by the musician. Suffice to say that Miss Motto was vociferously applauded as each item concluded until the artist responded again and again. ' Miss Phyllis 1' ell rendered two very fine solos on the pi.mo, for which she was ioudly apnlaxidjd. She also accompanied Miss Motto in a skilful manner in the violin numbers.
