PEARCE AND BARRY
BARRY MAKES COMPLAINT. (Received Julv 17, 8.30 a.m.i LONDON, July 16. Barry, who rows Pearce, of Australia, for the world's sculling championship on Monday next, states that he will retire after the race. He may visit Australia for pleasure. Barry complains of the difficulty he experienced in raising the stake; it was harder than ever on this occasion. He contrasts this vrith the support accorded Australian scullers.
