BULGARIAN MASSACRES. A REPORT CONFIRMED. (.Received Last Night, 11.30 o'clock.) ATHENS, July 17. It is semi-officially stated that, of the victims in the Demirhissar massacres, eighty were bayonetted to death. Twenty-four saved their lives by feigning death. The Austrian and Italian Consuls at Salonika proceeded to Serres to verify the. reports concerning the massacres received at headquarters by King Constantino. They subsequently declared that they found the catastropho even greater than they believed. The Greeks have occupied k°PCONDITIONS FOR ARMISTICE. GREEK AND SERVIAN PREMIERS AGREE. (Received Last Night ,11.20 o'clock.) BELGRADE, July 17. M. Pasics and M. Venezelos met at Uskub and agreed on all points regarding the conditions for an armistice. BULGARIA SUBMITS. TO ALTERATION OF BOUNDARIES. (Received Last Night, 11.20 o'clock.) SOFIA, July 17. The Bulgarian. Government, at Russia's instance, has agreed that the Servian frontier shall pass eastward of Vardar, leaving Ishtib to Servia. The Greek boundary will include Serres. ROUMANIAN ADVANCE. (Received Last Night, 11.20 o'clock.) BUCHAREST, July 17. Reuter's Sofia correspondent states that the Roumanians are near ,Rustchuk and Varna, and the occupation of Vratza is imminent. The population is fleeing before the invaders. Many fear that the Roumanians will occupy the town. KING CHARLES OF ROUMANIA. JOINS THE ARMY. (Received Last Night, 11.20 o'clock.) BUCHAREST, July 17. King Charles of Roumania has joined the Army headquarters. BULGARIAN POLITICIANS. OUT IN THEIR CALCULATIONS. Received This Morning, 12.15 o'clock.' SOFIA, July 17. M. Malenoff is endeavouring to form a Cabinet representing all parties. The gravity of the situation is engrossing the public. There are indications that many foremost politicians had calculated on the exhaustion of Austria's patience towards Servia's growing claims, also that Russia would intervene. WARNING FROM RUSSIA. TO SERVIA AND GREECE. Received This Morning, 12.15 o'clock. ST. PETERSBURG. July 17. Russia has warned Servia and Greece that if their claims are excessive her mediation will be withdrawn. Persistence in such claims are likely to provoke the Powers to intervention. These Powers, aio more than Russia, will allow Bulgaria] to be completely crushed.
