Masterton will re-jgi-et .to /hear that Mr R. (' "-Kiltie'') Smith, 6f Onslow Park,* who lias been confined to his bed for a considerable time,, is now lying seriously ill. Mr D. BrosnaJnan, jun., of Konini, who intends visiting Australian and New Zealad ports, left Koniini on Wednesday on his trip. Messrs P. Bisset and F. Britland, also of Konini, have gone en a trip to Australia.
