Ovr Otcn Correspondent. It is understood that Mr C. Hayes, of Park Read, Jia s disposed of his farm to Mr Burling, and will shortly take up his residence in Mh'stert6n. The marriage of Mr L. Haylor to Miss Nielsen, of Dalefield, took place at St. Mark's Church on Wednesday afternoon. A reception fr&j held subsequently, and the young couple left by the afternoon train for Wellington, where the honeymoon will be spent. .In the evening a social gathering in honour of tho occasion was held in the Dalefield Hall. * Mi - L. Frost, of Carterton, has been on a short holiday visit, to Carterton. Bro W. Wright, 0.1?.. ; presided at a meeting of Court Marquis of Norrnanhy, A.0.F., on Wednesday evening, when throe brothers were reported on the sick list. One brother was granted his clearance to the Lower kodge. Officers as follows were elected for tihe ensuing half-year:— C.R. Bro. H .Davis, S.C.R. Bro. H. Woodbury, S.W. Bro. J. M. Nicholls, J.W. Bio. J. C. Harp, S.B. Bro. W. 'Miller, J.W- Bro. W. Tucker; secretary Bro. R. J. Chapman, treasurer Bro. A. F. Pink, minute secretary Bro. C. Moore. The retiring C.R. was presented with a past-officer's emblem and neck ribbon.
