BULGARIAN ATROCITIES. VILLAGERS BURNT ALIVE. WOMEN BRUTALLY TORTURED. (Received Last Night, 11.10 o'clock.) LONDON, July 10. The Telegraph's correspondent has visited Nugrita. He confirms the report regarding atrocities. The Bulgarians killed or burnt alive least 470 villagers, while another eleven hundred were murdered in surrounding villages. I The women were subjected jto nameless tortures. Nigrita is roeking with burning flesh and smouldering ruins. The correspondent states that prior to occupying Nigrita the Greeks fought with the utmost fury and i dash. \ The battle lasted until nightfall. The contending troops rolled rocks upon each other amongst the precipitous ranges. The Bulgarians lost 500 killed and 2000 wounded. The Greek losses were 100 killed and 200 wounded. They captured 2000 Bulgarians. Another correspondent alleges that the outbreak of war was due to M. Savoff acting independently of the Government, which led to his resigning and" the appointment of a Russophile (Dimatrieff) as Commander-in-Chief. The Greek Legation has made representations to Britain regarding the atrocities that the Bulgarians are perpetrating on defenceless Greek vik lagers.

INCENDIARISM AND ROBBERY. ' (Received July 10, 9.30 a.mv) f . ATHENS, July 9. There are 2700 destitute refugees in Salonika from districts that have been occupied by th|e Bulgarians.. These allege that the Bulgarians burned their houses and crops and robbed them of everything.
