The examinations mtndo during the last few months "by lady doctors have been of a, perfunctory character, and, as far as can be discovered, have produced Ino good results. The in themselves are (useless. They must bo systematic throughout the Whole Dominion, and must be followed b> close observation on the part of teachers, and by ,*nedioal attention where required. The Hospital and .Charit able Aid Boards should be invited to 00-operate with the Health Department in evolving a scheme that will be practicable and effective.
