Some years ago Masterton pasted of one of the strongest Poultry and Pigeon Societies in the North Island. For reasons that need not be here discussed, the institution was allowed to succumb. It is felt that; the time has arrived when an effort shoidd be made to revive the Society, and to hold annual exhibitions. The development of the sgg has revived- interest, in the industry, and many residents now recognise 1 that poultry may. be 'kept for profit.
